Directions:  for cleanser/ exfoliator: Please start by washing your hands, paying special attention to finger tips. Place 3 level spoonfuls of botanical blend into your wooden bowl. Stir in 4 spoonfuls of hot water.

Give yourself a moment to enjoy the aromatics before applying. Throughout this loving ritual, a harmony occurs with body and mind. Breathe in the aromatics of botanicals in their purist and simplest forms.

Lovingly apply onto your face with a light, circular motion.  Your gentle massage increases circulation, bringing oxygen and nutrients to the surface.  And your exfoliator action encourages the lower layer of skin to produce fresh new skin cells and improve skin texture. Clearing away the top layer of cells will also allow for better penetration of hydrators.

Rinse and pat dry.

Follow with Rose Serum and Hydrosol.

Benefits:

Rose: antiseptic, disinfectant, tonic, soothing. Helpful for moisture retention, skin redness and inflammation. Beneficial for mature, dry and sensitive skin.

Chamomile: anti-inflammatory, healing, mild astringent, antiseptic and emollient. Is helpful for dermatitis, acne, and dry or super sensitive skin.

Lavender: Calming to the most sensitive skin. Relieves sunburn, cuts, blemishes and acne.

Elder Flowers: Soothing for skin irritations

Oatmeal: Soothing to all skin irritations and sensitivities

Rose hips: Abundant in essential fatty acids which protect the skin and are involved in cellular membrane and tissue regeneration. Regeneration can provide anti-aging benefits.  High in vitamins: E, C, D and B-Carotene (a from of A). E helps with cell turnover and CDB are antioxidants that fight free radicals.

Geranium: Improves circulation right below the surface of the skin, thus aiding in healing of spots, caused by acne, cuts, wounds, and skin irritations

Tightens facial skin, therefore reducing the appearance of wrinkles.

It also helps in fading the look of scars and other spots on the skin quickly.

Antiseptic, antifungal and antibacterial, which makes it especially helpful for acne because it will eliminate the bacteria and germs that cause acne.

As a cleanser, it gets rid of excess dirt, sebum and dead cells.

    Ahhh!!!!! I can not WAIT to try this. I’ll reply with an update about how it feels but lets just start with the smell and the texture. AMAZING. Just cracking the jar takes you to aroma heaven. The flowers are so beautifully blended into such a smooth fine texture. I was worried about the petals/etc being to large or uneven to use on a regular basis but this is actually a very consistent texture (and much finer than tea) – you’ll definitely be able to use it fine. Finally, the packaging, SO inSANELY cute. This came in the mail and the whole package was arranged like a care package – i love being able to unwrap each thing and discover something new, plus I’m pretty sure Lydia even lightly scented the stickers she used to aid the packaging. (I opened up the package and this delightful scent filled the air – I couldn’t tell where from til I smelled the stickers on the packaging!). Seriously, talk about a master craftsperson! I feel so pampered!

      Thank you so much Lisa! This is truly one of my favorite products to make because it takes me to aroma heaven too! I grind each component separately to ensure that they all have a fine, even texture. The layers are so pretty and then just like a mandala, it all gets mixed up. This product is so gentle you can use it as often as you like and there’s really no wrong way to use it. I hope you enjoy your facial smoother as much as I love making it!

    I love this! It exfoliates very gently and doesn’t irritate my super sensitive skin. It’s an easy ritual that feels super luxe, I’ll definitely get this again and again.
